Day 01: Cochin:
You are greeted on arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway station by The Travel Planners representative and thereafter transfer to Hotel. Afternoon you can go for the sightseeing of Cochin. 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets. Evening go for shopping. Overnight at Hotel. NB - Jewish synagogue, Mattancherry Palace etc are closed on all Fridays & Saturdays
Day 02: Munnar:
Morning drive to Munnar covering a distance of 130 kms / 4 hrs enroute visit Cheyyappara Waterfalls. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing:
Morning sightseeing in Munnar which includes Pothamedu, Mattupetty, Eco-Point etc. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake (optional). Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 04: Thekkady:
Today morning after breakfast drive to Thekkady the famous wild life sanctuary of South India. On arrival check in at hotel. Periyar wildlife sanctuary, home to nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger and more. Evening go for boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals(optional). Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05: Thekkady:
Go to see the rare species of plants and animals. Afternoon visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. on your way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Kumarakom:
Today morning after breakfast drive to Kumarakom. On arrival check in to a beautiful Backwater Resort. Afternoon free to relax at the resort. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 07: Day Cruise (Alleppey) – Marari:
Today morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey (Day Cruise @12Noon till 5PM), after day cruise proceed to Marari. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Rest and relax of the day. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 08: Departure:
Morning after breakfast transfer to Cochin International airport for your flight back home.
